Trams from Tver - “Vityazi” and “Corsairs”, “Lions” and “Lvivata”
Fantasy in Russia has never dried up: the people have always strived and strive to come up with their own names for what they themselves create. This also applies to public transport. Look at how trams are called in Tver: “Corsair”, “Bogatyr”, “Vityaz”, “Lev” - by the way, he has a “son” - "Lion Cub", which is smaller in size.

All this is produced not in Moscow or some other industrial city, but in the regional center - Tver. However, residents of the capital are already familiar with the company’s products. This is the Vityaz tram - the flagship model of the plant, carrying 265 passengers. There are more than 450 of these cars running around Moscow. All of them, from the largest one called “Lion” (it includes a maximum of 381 people) to the small “Lion Cub”, are low-floor and made using the latest technologies. In the latter, for example, patented technical solutions are used.

The plant also offers “export” options – the “Corsair” model is designed for European-type narrow-gauge railways. Such equipment is needed in Kaliningrad. And all this has been done over the past few years! How does the company manage to keep up with the world's best technical and design achievements so quickly? Surely there is a “secret” here. It's possible! Do you want to know? Watch the video!
