Russian Post began testing an autonomous truck
The Russian Post company has begun testing an electric unmanned truck. Over the next month, the Evocargo N1 model will move around the territory of Vnukovo-2, a logistics center owned by the post office.

The drone with a payload capacity of up to two tons was developed by the domestic company EvoCargo. The fifth generation intelligent autopilot system allows it to move without any human intervention. Advanced machine learning algorithms are used.

According to the manufacturer, the maximum speed of Evocargo is limited to 20 km/h for safety reasons. The drone studies environmental conditions through a multi-sensor system and relies on high-precision positioning on the ground.

A digital copy of the Vnukovo-1 logistics center was created especially for testing the Evocargo N2 truck. The equipment will not travel beyond its boundaries, at least until it passes tests with satisfactory results.

If successful, N1 drones will be able to enter the service of Russian Post and other logistics organizations, relieving employees of monotonous actions.
