Official sales of the most brutal Chinese SUV have started in Russia

The Motorinvest company has finally announced the start of sales of SUVs from Dongfeng. We are talking about the Mengshi M-Hero model, which is called a full-fledged competitor to the GM Hummer EV. Only a Chinese car is a hybrid.


Although, if you look at it, the Dongfeng M-Hero is more of an electric car. Its one and a half liter petrol engine works only in tandem with a generator and charges the running battery. For an impressive power of 816 hp. With. Three electric motors are responsible.

By the way, there is also a version of the car without an internal combustion engine. It is more powerful - 1 hp. With. But it will not be officially sold in Russia yet. And it's not that anyone is unhappy about the lack of a gasoline engine for backup. It’s just that the electric car has not yet been certified under the passenger category. Externally, Mengshi M-Hero looks powerful and brutal. Despite the overall impression of massiveness, the car can accelerate to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds.

The electric range is 175 km. Then you will have to recharge the battery. To do this, it is not necessary to connect to an external device - the engine under the hood is only needed to interact with the generator. And the latter just charges the battery. The vehicle's cruising range with a full tank of fuel is 750 km.

The manufacturer tried to make its brutal SUV friendly for beginners. Therefore, the Off-Road mode will simplify driving even on difficult off-road conditions. The electronics itself will select the desired settings.


The driver, in fact, will only have to turn the steering wheel, correcting the movement of the M-Hero. However, for those who like to control everything themselves, all these options can be disabled.

But the vaunted “crab mode” is more of a fashionable feature. Yes, the SUV can turn all four wheels, but there's not much point in that.

Inside, the Mengshi M-Hero is worthy of the title of a full-fledged premium car. There are heating, ventilation, numerous monitors and genuine leather.
