Domestic trucks "Ural" began to enjoy rush demand in 2023
The management of the Ural Automobile Plant announced a revision of its production plans for 2023 in favor of an increase. This became possible due to the increased demand for all-wheel drive trucks.

Recall that in 2022 the company produced a little less than 10 thousand cars under its brand. Realizing that in the context of economic sanctions against the Russian Federation, demand will inevitably increase, it was decided to increase the pace. Despite the break of contracts with foreign partners, the managers of the Ural plant still managed to establish uninterrupted operation of the conveyors.

Initially, in 2023 it was planned to produce 13,8 thousand trucks. Now this number has increased to 15. According to the manufacturer's press service, even this number is unlikely to satisfy the demand for all-wheel drive heavy trucks. But the company is not yet able to release more.

In 2023, Ural plans to receive at least 12 billion rubles of net profit. Most of the amount they want to invest in the modernization of production. The company's management now sees the main goal in the localization of components and components. Ural should not depend on foreign partners. If Russian companies cannot meet the demand, then they need to do it themselves, as was the case in the USSR.
