New dump trucks have begun to be mass-produced in Belarus

A new dump truck has appeared in Belarus - MoAZ-75053. The vehicle is structurally similar to the manufacturer's early earth-carriers, but has a modern design.


MoAZ-75053 was specially made resistant to economic sanctions. Moreover, the car is made only from components and assemblies of Belarusian, Russian and Chinese production. It turns out that technology personifies the brotherhood of three friendly nations and their economic ties.

The truck has a powerful frame that allows it to transport up to 25 tons in the most difficult conditions. Off-road is not a problem for the MoAZ-75053 - 4x4 all-wheel drive and special tires can handle it.


The model appeared last year, but it was a prototype. Although the chassis has been tested for decades, it took time to introduce all the innovations and test the car. And the main thing is to establish its mass production.

And finally it happened. MoAZ-75053 was put on the conveyor. The first dump truck has already found its buyer and has been sent to him. The manufacturer does not disclose who purchased the car. The client is also not eager to show off.

Although the manufacturer has no competitors in the CIS countries, it still tries to keep up with the times. The management of MoAZ does not want to concede to Chinese manufacturers, even externally. Therefore, the new model received a streamlined, ergonomic cabin.

Inside, the dump truck is designed for only one person. But the driver, or rather the operator, is spacious and comfortable. Ventilation, filtration and safety systems are included as standard.

On request, the cabin can be equipped with double glazing and improved thermal insulation. Also available as options are heating of the engine and battery container.

The body received a modified shape to maximally eliminate under-unloading of even wet soils. A frost protection system is provided.


The engine of the MoAZ-75053 has the index GZPD WP12. This is a turbodiesel power unit with a power of 380 hp. With. from the Chinese manufacturer Weichai Group. By the way, they have their own joint assembly production in Belarus.

The engine is paired with an automatic transmission from BelAZ. This is a six-speed unit. All other components, according to the manufacturer, are Belarusian and Russian.

They don’t say how much MoAZ-75053 costs. The MoAZ plant promises to announce the price for potential customers, taking into account their wishes and preferences in the configuration of dump trucks.
