Details about the new cabin of the domestic SJ-100 have been revealed

The press service of Rostec revealed details about the configuration of the new cabin of the domestic Sukhoi Superjet airliner. As you know, a completely import-substituted aircraft will be assembled on the assembly line in the very near future. Absolutely all parts, including the engine, brakes, fuel system, glazing, lighting equipment, interior elements, etc., are now assembled in Russia.


The cabin of the Russian aircraft SJ-100 has also been completely updated. During its development, the primary task was to ensure maximum convenience for pilots. For example, screens have now increased in size and have become much more informative. In addition, all mechanical control systems have been replaced by electronic ones.


The only thing that remains the same is the English inscriptions on the panels. But this is easily explained - one language of communication for all long-haul aircraft pilots and dispatchers minimizes the risk of an emergency. This also “opens the door” for our aircraft to the international market.
