Fiat presented a new product without a name

Small Fiat cars like Punto, Uno or Panda are well known in Russia. The company was inspired by the success of these models and decided to assign one of the above names to the new car. It is still unknown what exactly the technology will be called. Perhaps for Europe it will be Punto-tt. So far there is only a working name - Fiat Type 2024. In technical terms, the 4,5 m long car with a relatively high ground clearance is reminiscent of the Citroen C3. Experts believe that Fiat will not limit itself to an electric car and will release versions with internal combustion engines of different capacities.


If we talk about stylistics, then there is a similarity with the Fiat Centoventi presented five years ago. Here we also see connected head optics, some similarities in the design of the front end. However, the wavy lines are no longer there; linings have appeared on the doors. The dimensions of the new product somehow no longer resemble a compact car, which in this regard can already compete with the Hyundai Greta.


The manufacturer is confident that the new compact city car will be the best in its class on the day of the presentation. And it will take place on July 11, this year. The demonstration of the new product is timed to coincide with the 125th anniversary of the start of production at the Italian plant. The company also believes that given the developing economic crisis, models of this class will be especially in demand all over the world.
