Jawa 42 - a cheap modern motorcycle of a brand popular in the USSR

Motorcycles "Java" was in demand in the Soviet Union. Although bikes were not popular in the country, people bought them because they were unavailable cars, this did not apply to models from Czechoslovakia. It was difficult to find a Jawa in a store. They were immediately sold out - you had to somehow negotiate with the sellers or stay on duty for days, hoping to get a batch of motorcycles. "Jawa" surprised with its reliability against the background of its main competitor - Izh. Although, for the village the latter was better - it always stood out for its traction at low revs and simply indestructible chassis.

It seems that the days of Jawa are over, but they are not. To be convinced of this, it is enough to open any major website selling motorcycles. Among the old Soviet models, you suddenly come across new Jawa 2021-2022. But today the author of the Mysportbike channel will talk about the latest novelty. This is Jawa 42 - a model that is not even sold in Russia yet. It is considered the cheapest in the brand line. In India, where this motorcycle is assembled, it costs only 180 thousand rubles. Unfortunately, our prices for these bikes are at least 3 times higher. Customs duties, sellers' margins - and "Java" is not available to buyers. But the motorcycle is good - a 300 cm3 engine with liquid cooling. And the quality of Indian bikes is much higher than Chinese ones - almost on a par with Japanese ones.
