Jawa 42 - a cheap modern motorcycle of a brand popular in the USSR
Motorcycles "Java" in the Soviet Union were in demand. Although bikes were not liked in the country, buying them due to the unavailability of cars, this was not the case for models from Czechoslovakia. Finding Jawa in the store was just so difficult. They were immediately sold out - they had to somehow negotiate with the sellers or be on duty for days, hoping to get on a batch of motorcycles. "Java" was surprised by the reliability against the backdrop of the main competitor - Izh. Although, the latter was better for the village - it has always been distinguished by traction at low revs and simply indestructible hodovka.

It seems that the days of Jawa are over, but they are not. To be convinced of this, it is enough to open any major website selling motorcycles. Among the old Soviet models, you suddenly come across new Jawa 2021-2022. But today the author of the Mysportbike channel will talk about the latest novelty. This is Jawa 42 - a model that is not even sold in Russia yet. It is considered the cheapest in the brand line. In India, where this motorcycle is assembled, it costs only 180 thousand rubles. Unfortunately, our prices for these bikes are at least 3 times higher. Customs duties, sellers' margins - and "Java" is not available to buyers. But the motorcycle is good - a 300 cm3 engine with liquid cooling. And the quality of Indian bikes is much higher than Chinese ones - almost on a par with Japanese ones.
