Boxer motorcycles are not only Soviet "Urals" and "Dneprs"

Motorcycles with a boxer engine for most Russian men over 40 is the Ural and the Dnepr. Many remember their fathers' and grandfathers' "strollers" in the villages. These hard workers carried the whole family and did the chores. Somehow, other motorcycles with boxer engines don't immediately come to mind. But that doesn't mean they don't exist. Any experienced biker will tell you that such models are still being produced. For example, Ural motorcycles are still being assembled. And the most important boxer in the world is BMW, of course. It was from this German company that the Soviet Union copied its heavy bikes. And BMW continues to make such motorcycles, despite criticism that they are supposedly long out of date.

But besides German, Soviet and Russian, there are other boxer models. For example, the Japanese company Honda produces a large touring bike that has long become legendary. This is Gold Wing, aka Golda. There were enough boxer motorcycles in history. I liked the model with a longitudinal arrangement of cylinders more. An interesting solution, lovers of urban "lumbago" will definitely appreciate it. You can safely ride in the aisle without fear of being caught. The author of the KrasMoto channel compiled a whole scientific report on this topic, from the first to modern motorcycles.
