The history of John Deere began in 1837. This includes the simplest, most reliable and unpretentious tractors in the budget segment. The line is represented by three models, differing in power:

It includes all-wheel drive tracked and wheeled vehicles equipped with all kinds of electronic equipment. All models have comfortable cabins of the "Command Center" type. Series 6M

This family of agricultural machinery was launched into mass production in 2012. The tractors differ in the frame design: TSL independent suspension is used here, which improves the vehicle's flotation and handling. In total, there are 6 models in the line with a capacity from 110 to 195 “horses” with an engine torque of 497-880 N * m. The hydraulic system works automatically: if more power is needed, the capacity rises to 114 l/min. A wide range of products allows you to choose the most suitable model according to "ability" and cost. Powerful and economical engines, comfortable cabins complete the list of advantages.

Of the negative qualities, one can only note the high (at least for the Russian Federation and post-Soviet countries) price of some models and the complexity of the equipment. The abundance of electronics requires careful operator training and the availability (preferably somewhere nearby) of repair services. To fix anything, to repair it in the field, as Soviet and Russian tractor drivers are used to doing, is unlikely to succeed here. And one more minus in relation to operation in the Russian Federation is the intolerance of American engines to low fuel quality.

Deere & Company in Russia

If we take a global scale, we can say that the company is flourishing. In 2021, the concern earned $2,751 billion in net profit. In 2022, Deere & Company plans to increase this figure to $6,5-7 billion. The tractor giant has its own plant in the Russian Federation (John Deere began supplying equipment to Russia for another 100 years back). Previously, he was in the Moscow region (Domodedovo), but was later moved to the Orenburg region. It is expected that the branch of the American concern will produce from 1 thousand units of equipment per year. The plant aims to produce tractors of the 8R series (with 230-410 hp engines) and two versions of the W650 combine (for 275 and 305 horses). But as for the localization of production, the position of the Americans is ambiguous. In March last year, a company spokesman said he was not yet ready to continue to produce his tractors using local resources "under current conditions." That is, now there is a “screwdriver” assembly.
