The best off-road truck that Russia inherited from the Soviet Union is considered to be the Ural-4320. It’s not for nothing that the car is still in production. It is diesel, reliable and repairable. And its advantages have long been proven - there are a number of videos demonstrating the advantages of the Ural-4320. Of course, sometimes a lightweight GAZ-66 is more relevant. But, based on the totality of tests, “Ural” still turns out to be the winner. And the fact that it has a higher carrying capacity is not worth mentioning. But not everyone agrees. Experienced drivers, who are well over 50, believe that the old Soviet models are better. GAZ-66 and ZIL-157 are beyond competition.

Although, one thing can be said right away - the owner of such cars is unlikely to be happy with fuel consumption in the mud. GAZ-66 is more economical in this regard. Although it will also surprise you with a consumption of 50 liters per 100 km on light off-road conditions.
