Russian Railways told when a completely Russian high-speed train will be ready

The head of the open joint-stock company Russian Railways, Mr. Belozerov, told when the release of a fully localized model of a new generation train with high-speed characteristics is expected.


At the moment, according to him, its active construction is underway. The design has already been approved and the subsequent stages of the production process have been detailed.

The project is expected to be fully ready for commissioning in 2027. At the same time, as the chief engineer of the holding previously stated, the actual assembly should begin in 2026.


The readiness to start construction of a high-speed highway was also announced. Now, as stated, are undergoing tests of the VSP. That part of the railway track, which is responsible for the acceptance and subsequent transfer of loads from the wheels of the rolling stock.

The new development will make it possible to operate railway transport with a speed of up to 400 km/h.
