LiAZ-5932 "Magnolia" - created specifically for the Soviet "television people"

LiAZ buses are familiar to every Russian for 30 years. In the "people" they were nicknamed "moon rovers" for the peculiarities of operation. The fact is that the rear of the bus bounced strongly on the bumps, apparently, they did not want to repair the air suspension. Children and teenagers specially stood there to fly into the air. It created a feeling of weightlessness, albeit for a few moments. LiAZ is an innovative technique for its time. Gasoline spent in buckets - thanks to the ZIL engine. But the gearboxes were always set to automatic. For the USSR it was something. Only the "bottle" ringing of the transmission brought confusion into the souls of Soviet citizens. Some seriously believed that somewhere in the bowels under the floor, the driver was hiding a glass container, ringing melodiously.


And they also made specific equipment on the LiAZ chassis - buses for television. According to the documentation, 173 of these were collected. Specifically, LiAZ-5932 "Magnolia" was released 96. This is a full-fledged traveling television studio in miniature. It is not surprising that the LiAZ-677 chassis was chosen for the equipment. This bus was the most comfortable in the Soviet Union. Of course, provided that the rear suspension is in order. There were four air springs, springs and shock absorbers.
