Who needs Soviet mopeds now, if there are enough Chinese and Japanese small-capacity vehicles on sale? Of course, those that did not have time to ride them in childhood! In those years, I envied the owners of mopeds. Fortunately, in a big city, the boys had few of them. Therefore, we rode with friends on bicycles that we kept at home. But moms did not agree to keep mopeds in the apartment. Although, now I'm sure that the fathers would not be against such a use of living space.

It's a different story in the village. When I arrived, I was surprised to find that I was the only one without a moped. The other boys, starting from the age of 12, had them. A solution to the situation was found quickly - I bought a moped for 30-50 rubles, and sold it at the end of the season. Even though the equipment was often not in the best condition, it drove on its own. Not always, of course, but I liked the repair process no less than riding.
