Car tuning will continue to be fined - opinions of drivers
Car tuning is a sore subject for Russian drivers. But lately it's been getting absurd. It's one thing when fans of night races are fined, waking up residents of entire sleeping areas. It is quite another if a simple summer resident is punished for a self-installed towbar.

Now they can punish not only for tinting above the norm and a “noisy” exhaust system. The absence of catalysts is also punishable by a fine. But many motorists have long cut out these "useless" elements. After 150 thousand kilometers, they can fail, crumble and damage the engine piston system with fine abrasive dust. And they will also be punished for home-made roof racks and cargo mounts.

It is planned to ban the import to Russia of cars with factory design changes. So far, this is only a proposal, but it can be legally approved.

But what Russian drivers think:

It is clear that the next replenishment of the budget is coming. And where should the poor peasant go now? The tax does not allow for powerful cars. And if you want to tune the unfortunate VAZ in order to stand out, they will be fined.

- the user "Fidel" starts the conversation

I have enough changes in the design of the car. Naturally, none of this is properly registered. It turns out that any traffic police inspector can cling and issue a fine. And yes, I have a regular car. And the changes are a towbar, a roof rack, an armrest in the cabin. Yes, even a tee in the cigarette lighter can find fault!

- the user "pivo" is indignant

So, now, even for the speaker system that you installed or the specialists made, can you also get a fine?

– the user “goga” is interested

And you thought - there is even such an item. It says about installing additional speakers and amplifiers.

- Ivan Petrovich answers

We are on the right path, comrades! So, you see, it will not be far to the level of Turkmenistan. Black cars are illegal there.

– it is not clear whether the user “zogar” is joking or serious

But as for me, if the punks on the "buckets" with Chinese buffers will be fined under the entrances, it's good. I just doubt it will be.

- says the user "Denchik"

What are you excited about? Now these traffic police inspectors cannot be found on the roads during the day with fire! Unless the cameras will fix external tuning, but this is in the long term. Yes, and that's not a fact.

- Victor Mikhailovich ends the conversation.
