Among them was Lukas Wenzhöfer, a qualified car designer who even had a hand in creating three-dimensional models for Porsche at Alias.
In between projects at his main place of work, the automotive designer created the magnificent BMW 03 coupe, which shows signs of both a retro and a car of the future.

On our agenda is an exclusive project created only in electronic format. But even so, it leaves far behind the current appearance of the BMW M2 and M4.
According to the designer, his task during the development of the conceptual 03 Coupe was to rethink the traditional design direction of the German brand. He wanted to create something that could be called "different and pure" from the company's current developments.
For inspiration, Lucas drew on the shapes of both classic BMW cars and more modern alternatives, including models with pure electric powertrains.
For example, the car has acquired massive front wings, while it has a rather low and swift profile. In the rear there are through lights, which are also hidden during the daytime.
The traditional shape of the radiator grille hints at the classic design of the concept car. Elements such as hidden door handles and alloy wheels convey modernity.

In terms of dimensions, the body dimensions of the BMW 03 Coupe are comparable to the previous generation M2 (F87), which measures 4468 mm in length. If the car were to become real, it would be 100% electric and rear-wheel drive only, which is how the designer intended it.
The zero CO2 emissions of this concept coupe are demonstrated by the barely noticeable air intakes, which usually serve a purely decorative function in electric cars. The fact that this is an EV is also hinted at by the absence of exhaust pipes at the rear.
According to Lukas Wenzhöfer, such a car, being real and not a project in the program, could co-exist in practice with the current BMW line with internal combustion engines, adding a little variety to it.
