Aston Martin DBS Superleggera - a supercar with a British character

If you are interested in charged cars, then you know that Aston Martin has a special reputation. For more than a dozen years, the company has been producing beautiful and powerful, but not the most technically advanced machines. Someone saw a special charm in this, it seemed to someone that for this reason Aston Martin was losing to direct competitors. Today we will look at DBS Superleggera, the flagship of the line that can surprise even connoisseurs of the British brand.

Technical specifications

Traditionally, the charged version has a 12-liter V5,2 engine. The twin-turbo engine is made of high-strength light alloys. It has 4 camshafts, there is a function to deactivate half of the cylinders at low loads, which saves fuel. The air intakes on the front fenders deserve special attention. They seem to continue the line of the arch and end near the door. Of course, they are equipped with heating, ventilation and other features that are found in such cars.


Door cards with light inserts match the seats. They are trimmed with leather and decorated with the same pattern as on the armchairs. The shape of the armrest is thought out so that the passenger is placed comfortably.


The dashboard is tilted forward, it has a pronounced middle section and side elements, which contain the necessary information about the trip and the operation of the main systems. The top of the dash is trimmed in thick leather with stylish stitching for a luxurious look.


The ceiling is sheathed in premium quality Alcantara. Moreover, the material is not just stretched on the surface - there is a wedge-shaped pattern, it is repeated on many elements of the interior.


Under the armrest, which is also sheathed in luxurious leather, there is a storage compartment for small items. It opens with a button on the central tunnel - the electric drive smoothly shifts the upper part back.


An interesting feature is retractable speakers on the front panel. They drive out after the ignition is turned on and provide good sound quality due to the fact that it is directed to the driver and passenger.


The center console deserves special attention. These are three touch panels, there are no physical buttons. It is not clear how convenient it is, but the appearance has become much better. At the bottom there are controls for navigation, phone, sound and other systems. In the middle is the climate control module. The gear selector is even higher - in the center is the start button with the manufacturer's emblem, on the sides there are gear selection sensors.


A multimedia screen is fixed at the top. The image from the cameras is broadcast there, the route of the navigator is laid, etc. This element, as well as its control, as well as the turning knobs, are taken from Mercedes. Due to this, Aston Martin has acquired all the modern features and stood on a par with the auto giants. This is a smart decision that allowed us to save on development, but at the same time ensured the reliability of electronics.


The car has a rear row of seats designed for two passengers. To get there, you need to pull the strap on the front seat - it will automatically tilt and move forward. It is worth noting that it will be inconvenient for large people to sit back.

Aston Martin gives a three-year warranty without mileage. Today, the dealer center in Moscow is operating normally, there should not be any problems with service.
