The platform for the jeep was designed by Magna Steyr, which took part in the creation of the Mercedes-Benz G-class.



The exterior and interior are made with maximum practicality in mind, but a lot of attention is also paid to comfort and aesthetics. The vertical instrument panel, hard-wearing trim, long distance switches all show that the car is built for tough conditions.



The touch display allows you to control the media system, it is protected from moisture. There are rubber drain plugs in the floor, and the seat upholstery is waterproof, the interior can be washed with a hose if necessary.

The SUV has a frame structure with solid axles and Panhard rods front and rear, and progressive coil springs. The system can include up to three lockable differentials. To reduce weight, the body is made of aluminum, high-strength steel stampings and composite materials. The car has a ground clearance of more than 26 cm, overcomes fords with a depth of 80 cm.

Production of Ineos Grenadier will begin in July 2022 at the plant in Hambach (France), where Smart cars were previously assembled there. Buyers will receive the first copies in August.
