Usually for such trips they use cars off-road class. The most daring and adventurous ones also drag along a light cross-country motorcycle or simply turn a standard jeep into something monstrous.



But for some reason it is forgotten that there is special equipment that in off-road conditions can replace not only cross-country vehicles, but also motorcycles. These are tracked all-terrain vehicles, capable of not only driving on land, but also moving through water.



But they didn’t guess - there is a Tinger company in Russia, which produces unique all-terrain vehicles, both wheeled and tracked! Today we will get acquainted with the Tinger Track 2 model.

What is this Tinger?

“Probably, another assembler of Chinese technology!” - many will say, and they will be wrong! Tinger is a full cycle enterprise! And the fact that they use foreign-made parts and power units is normal.

Are there many domestic units in the same Lada Vesta? There are practically none there, and the brand itself belongs to the French!

Tinger is a well-known company for the production of utility all-terrain vehicles. The company's products are popular far beyond Russia - in Europe, Asian countries, Latin America.



The company has been operating on the market since 2007.

Now two all-terrain vehicles are being produced that can replace five vehicles at once:

Although the slogan "five in one" sounds somehow frankly "advertising", in fact, the technique is unique. For readers to immediately believe in its effectiveness, it is enough to mention that Tinger Track 2 is used by Russian law enforcement agencies. They won’t buy useless equipment from a private manufacturer!

Technical specifications

In fact, the construction of the Tinger Track 2 is solid and reliable. It is based on a powerful frame on which the plastic case rests. The material of the body is not simple - it is resistant to impacts, cracks and durable. Due to the fact that it is plastic, an all-terrain vehicle and floats on water.



The material is resistant to scratches, and if they appear on the body, they are practically invisible, they eliminate themselves.

The engine was taken from a serial Chinese Chery car. This solved several problems at once - it is cheap to repair and maintain, plus it is easy to find spare parts if something breaks.

The engine is small, its working volume is more like a motorcycle - 812 cm3, with a power of 57 liters. With. The manufacturer added an additional fan for air cooling to the motor - you never know, you will have to load the power unit with high speeds!



The exhaust system was redesigned to make the sound quiet - this is not a cruiser! The speed of the all-terrain vehicle turned out to be no more than 35 km / h, but the traction on the bottoms is high.

And most importantly - fuel consumption in the average driving mode up to 7 liters of gasoline! In the most severe off-road, it does not rise above ten! Now that's interesting! Moreover, the fuel tank holds 110 liters.

Based on a speed of 35 km / h, then on Tinger Track 2 you can move without interruption for 32 hours!

As for the gearbox, here it is a CVT, which causes distrust among many buyers. But do not worry - this is a Canadian unit that has been put on snowmobiles for at least 30 years.

Thanks to a ground clearance of 330 mm and "caterpillars", the cross-country ability of an all-terrain vehicle is unrealistic even for owners of specially prepared SUVs.



Inside Tinger Track 2 can accommodate 5 people on land and 4 on the water. An open body for an additional fee can be retrofitted with a frame and an awning, put a “stove”, and ride all year round without any problems.

How is this miracle controlled?

The most important thing you need to know about Tinger Track 2 is that this technique is not intended for public roads, it does not require any registration. Accordingly, in theory, anyone, even a child, can ride an all-terrain vehicle.

Management - like on a motorcycle or ATV. There is a steering wheel, on which all the buttons, levers and toggle switches are displayed.

Of the features, it is worth noting the presence of a simple on-board computer, a button for forced cooling of the engine compartment.

There is even a pump designed to pump out water that can get inside the all-terrain vehicle while moving through the water. It sounds funny, but sometimes the lakes are restless.

Thanks to the CVT, you can master the control in just half an hour from scratch. If a person rode a motorcycle, then training comes down to a minute instruction.

How does it go?

To make Tinger Track 2 waterfowl, the creators followed the path of Soviet designers, only simplifying their task. The boat-shaped body floats on the water because of the shape, plus it's plastic.



The all-terrain vehicle floats due to the operation of caterpillar tracks, but the speed is only 5 km / h. If someone is going to often move on the water, then it is better to install an outboard motor - it can be ordered both from the manufacturer and separately. The design of the Tinger Track 2 suggests a place for such an engine.

Interestingly, the fifth person will have to be landed when moving through the water. The all-terrain vehicle is designed only for four. It is possible that it all depends on the weight of the passengers - if they are large, then the dreadnought will go to the bottom. And the slender Tinger Track 2 will carry five.
