Changing front pads on Renault Logan - all the secrets and subtleties

Press the brake cylinder piston into the housing. To do this, lower the movable holder back down and, using a large slotted screwdriver as a lever (inserting it between the disc and the caliper), move it outward.


Clear the front brake pad guides of any blockages. Remove the two spring clips and clean them. Remove dirt from the surface of the guide. Put the staples back. Install new brake pads.

Lower the floating bracket and secure it with the bolt. We replace the pads on the second wheel in the same way. After repair, it is recommended to press the brake several times to adjust the gaps between the linings and discs.
