Russian "Partizan" will become a civil aircraft

It became known that the Partizan heavy transport drone must be certified as a passenger aircraft. The head of the design laboratory and advanced research department of SibNIA, Mr. Shafer, shared information about this. At the same time, he clarified that the transportation of people will be carried out in manned mode.


At the same time, the director of the Institute of Aviation named after S.A. Chaplygin believes that the passenger “Partizan” can become a very worthy alternative to the light An-2. The new aircraft significantly surpasses its predecessor in a number of characteristics, including takeoff and landing. This is the only aircraft in the world that requires a 50*50 area for takeoff.


That is, he can easily do without prepared runways. In addition, with its 350-380 km/h it is the leader in speed among analogues. The flight range of this aircraft is about 1000 km.

The Partizan UAV is already undergoing flight tests. In February of this year they were carried out in manned mode, and are planned for unmanned mode for the summer.
