Porsche 718 Boxster EV 2025 appeared almost without camouflage

Photographers captured eight examples of the 8 Porsche 718 Boxster EV as they crossed the Arctic Circle in Sweden. At the moment, the images they have taken show us cars with a minimum of camouflage.


In particular, the prototypes lost their camouflage on the exhaust pipes and headlights. It's now easy to see that the electric sports car's taillights are similar in design to those of the Taycan and Macan. The rear lights are complemented by the finest LED units for added style.

Earlier it became known what the interior of the sports car will be like. There are a lot of changes noticeable compared to the previous generation. First of all, the interior has become more “digital” due to the transition from an internal combustion engine to an electric platform.


Despite the fact that the development of a prototype of the future new product is still in full swing, it is obvious that the 718 Boxster will receive two large touch displays. One of them is a digital instrument panel, and the second is a touchscreen information and multimedia system.

There is no longer any doubt that the interior arrangement will be the same, especially since the electric versions of the Taycan and Macan have a similar interior arrangement. The same applies to the Cayman model.

The dashboard of the new Porsche 718 Boxster will be a combination of a touch screen and conventional mechanical switches and toggle switches. Under the central touchscreen of the multimedia system, deflectors, two USB ports and aviation-style handles are organically spread out.

The 2025 Boxster and Cayman electric vehicles will be built on Porsche's latest SSP Sport electric vehicle architecture. It will provide adequate practicality for both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions.


It is believed that Porsche will present several versions of the sports car with different battery capacities and power plant power. In the basic configuration, one electric motor is expected on the rear axle. More expensive versions will receive all-wheel drive and from 400 hp. With.
