In the late 1970s, several manufacturers agreed to cut costs by using a single platform to produce their models. The first, oddly enough, were Lancia and SAAB - two brands that assemble certainly not the most banal cars. For the Swedes, this is the 9000 model, and for the Italians, the Thema. This event took place in 1984.


After looking at the result and sales, Fiat joined the contract with Croma. Alfa Romeo decided not to blunder and prepared the 164 model. It happened in 1987. Of course, outwardly Fiat and Lancia are more similar - you can believe in their relationship. As for the "Swede" and Alfa Romeo, it is difficult to find a common one here.
