After the collapse of the Soviet Union in Russia and other countries of the former USSR, the so-called "dashing nineties" began. The most popular cars of this type in Russia were and remain Gazelles and UAZs, but they are far from the only ones. For example, in 1992 they developed an armored car called Ladoga 1913.
The car was created using a number of components and assemblies from UAZ, but based on this SUV.
