A year ago, the Porsche Cayenne received another update, but the company seemed to have forgotten about the GTS. Actually, no – the Germans have revealed the 2025 model, and there is definitely something to talk about.


The Cayenne GTS returns in two body styles: crossover and coupe. It will receive an uprated V8 with two turbochargers, sporty design elements and a redesigned Turbo GT suspension.

Despite the increase of 40 liters. s., the model is still inferior in power to the hybrid Turbo S E-Hybrid. The car isn't as good on the race track as the Turbo GT that was literally built for it. However, the GTS, whose name stands for Gran Turismo Sport, will take its rightful place in the series.

The main feature of the restyling was the appearance of a new 4,0-liter V8 gasoline engine. It produces a peak power of 493 hp. With. with a torque of 660 N*m. Due to these changes, the GTS has become a step higher compared to the Cayenne S. The engine power of the latter is 468 hp. With.

The turbocharged V8 is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, which sends power to all four wheels via Porsche Traction Management (PTM). Like the Turbo GT, this technology has a separate cooling circuit, which increases its service life during intense driving.

The increase in power has speeded up the car a bit: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h now takes 4,2 seconds, and the top speed limit has moved to 275 km/h.

The standard dual-chamber air suspension with adaptive dampers has been tuned specifically for the GTS and is positioned 10mm lower than the standard versions. To improve handling, engineers adjusted negative camber on the front wheels.

In addition, the suspension design includes an active stabilization system during roll when cornering. This technology is also known as Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control. It is not included in the basic package, but it does have an equally useful Torque Vectoring Plus option.

In terms of design, the car received new 21-inch wheels, large air intakes on the front bumper, bronze trim on the exhaust pipes and an adaptive rear spoiler.

The first copies of the new 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS will appear in showrooms in the fall. The base price will be 124900 US dollars or 11,72 million rubles. The coupe version is even more expensive – it costs at least 129500 US dollars or 12,16 million rubles at the current exchange rate.
