Jawa was considered the best motorcycle in the Soviet Union. And even though Izh Planet Sport was faster, the bikes from Czechoslovakia were still superior to other models in terms of their total characteristics. It is now believed that Jawa has long repeated the fate of Izh, Minsk and Voskhod. The plant, they say, collapsed after the USSR “ordered it to live long.” But experienced motorcyclists are aware that the Java brand still exists. Businessmen from India bought it and now produce their own models in retro style. They have nothing in common with the “Soviet” Jawa. Perhaps they are similar in appearance to some older models, but only remotely.
But few people know that the plant is operating in the Czech Republic. The most interesting thing is that two-stroke models are still produced there, and in several versions. Outwardly, they look like those “Soviet” motorcycles and will cause a storm of emotions. Of course, the electronic dashboard and disc brakes stand out from the overall picture, but the sound of a two-stroke engine and the “fumes” of gasoline and oil exhaust will immediately return you to the halcyon years of your youth. And they will introduce you to the Jawa 2024 models on the Mysportbike channel. By the way, a few years ago such motorcycles were officially offered in Russia.
