It’s not difficult to buy a real buggy now, but in Soviet times it was almost impossible. This technique was not mass-produced, but specialized magazines repeatedly described diagrams on how to assemble such a miracle yourself. Buggies were made by enthusiasts, often right in apartments or on balconies. But in the mid-70s, an attempt was made to introduce such a model into mass production. It was an Izh Junior 350. A tubular frame, a fiberglass body, an engine from a motorcycle and a number of components from a disabled vehicle. The model did not go into production, but the idea went to the masses.
And here are its fruits - a homemade buggy, built by an enthusiast according to the same scheme. The author of the channel “MNOGO TEHNIKI” talks about this machine. What is noteworthy is that the engine here is also an engine from Izh Planet 3. Everything is like a Soviet buggy. The purpose of the construction is to introduce children to technology. Modern children need this - at least they will learn to have fun not only in gadgets. And the repair skill will come in handy if you want to travel, of course, more often. And there is no doubt that the buggy will break down periodically. The creator of the car claims that it can accelerate to 60 km/h. It can also jump from springboards without loss to the chassis.
