Jetour Dashing crossovers will be produced in Russia – we are waiting for the cost to decrease

The Russian Avtotor plant will start producing Jetour Dashing at its facilities. Let us remind you that for now this model is officially sold in our country, but cars are imported from China. By the end of March, they promise the appearance of crossovers with Russian VIN numbers.


As for the cost of Jetour Dashing, there is no information about this yet. From official dealers, such a crossover in the basic configuration can be purchased from 2,49 million rubles. In theory, localized cars should become cheaper.

And there are a number of reasons for this. For example, customs duties for the import of vehicle kits are much lower. Plus, the manufacturer will receive benefits - the cars will legally be considered Russian.


Jetour Dashing should appeal primarily to lovers of everything modern. In China, for example, the main buyers are people under 40 years old.

The Chinese crossover looks sporty. He also has a lot of specific “tricks” copied from well-known world manufacturers.

For example, retractable door handles look stylish, although they are not very comfortable. To use them, you will have to use two hands at once. One needs to press the left edge, the second one pulls the right.

The salon is also replete with newfangled solutions. Do you like conservative designs? Then Jetour Dashing is unlikely to suit you. There are a lot of things out of place here; you have to think about how to adjust the mirrors, turn on the headlights or the windshield washer. Of course, when you get used to it, it no longer causes difficulties, but the first time is difficult.

The interior finishing materials of the Jetour Dashing definitely cannot be classified as premium, but everything is done well. There is no “Chinese” here - the gaps are adjusted no worse than those of famous German manufacturers.

But the seating position of the driver and front passenger is more focused on people with a height of up to 180 cm. If someone has grown more than this mark, there will not be enough adjustments. However, you can move the seat back as far as possible, but then the passengers in the second row will be indignant.


The Jetour Dashing has two engines – both petrol and turbocharged. In the basic and “medium” trim levels, under the hood there is a power unit with a volume of 1,5 liters and 147 liters. With.
