Toyota has announced prices for the Land Cruiser Prado 2024 SUV

Toyota has declassified the official prices for the new generation Land Cruiser Prado SUV. This car will be offered from 57,5 thousand dollars (5,3 million rubles). By the way, this is about 15% higher than the Japanese manufacturer initially promised. But it is significantly lower than what was asked for the previous generation model.


Let us remind you right away that for the 2021 model Pradik they wanted at least 85,7 thousand dollars (7,9 million rubles). But this car was larger and more powerful. It made it possible to “take on board” up to eight people and tow a trailer weighing 3,7 tons.

The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will turn out to be a much more modest SUV. Only five passengers can comfortably fit inside the car. Of course, you can make room and seat seven, or even eight, people. But some of them will have to be placed on the laps of others.


And the weight of the towed trailer of the new Pradika is not so impressive. Total 2,7 tons. But, as practice shows, this is quite enough for most owners. But all the reductions had a beneficial effect on the cost of the car - it became more affordable.

The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will be offered in three versions. We have already mentioned the base price. In the “average” configuration, the car will cost 63,5 thousand dollars (5,8 million rubles). And the manufacturer decided to release the “top” version in a circulation of only 5 copies. He valued it at 000 thousand dollars (76,5 million rubles).

Regardless of the modification, the engine under the hood of the car will have no alternative. This is a turbo-petrol four-cylinder power unit with a volume of 2,4 liters. Its power is 326 hp. With.

The engine, by the way, is considered a hybrid. An electric motor with 48 horsepower is integrated into the gearbox. But there will be no V6 under the hood of the SUV.

The gearbox is also without alternative - it is an 8-automatic transmission. There will be no "mechanics".


It’s interesting that the designers decided to play up the difference in versions even externally. For example, the SUV received round headlights in the basic and top-end configurations. But the “medium” one is equipped with rectangular front optics.

Generally speaking, the design of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2024 is created in the spirit of the brand’s old SUVs. In appearance there is also a reference to the FJ Cruiser model.

Despite its reduced dimensions, the new car has serious off-road potential. All-wheel drive is here with a transfer case, center differential and rear diff lock. The frame was also preserved - spar type.
