The appearance of the Gazelle Next solved several problems - the lack of a diesel engine and an increase in usable space. The heavy fuel engine was installed from Cummins, bought in China. The power unit turned out to be quite good, but there was a problem with deliveries in 2022. The American owners of the Cummins brand refused to cooperate and supported economic sanctions. But GAZ specialists have already managed to prepare a new engine. It was developed in China, but will be produced in Russia. Not to collect, but to produce.
