AeroHT launches pre-sales of modular flying car

In Las Vegas, Xpeng AeroHT presented a modular flying electric car that is ready for mass production. At the press conference, the company did not limit itself to demonstrating a flying eVTOL, making an ambitious statement about preparations for the mass production of an unusual model.


We are talking about the latest in the AeroHT family - a modular car. This is an all-wheel drive electric supercar with a 6x6 wheelbase, designed for use on public roads. At the same time, an eVTOL aircraft is located in the rear of the car. This modular layout immediately earned the nickname “Land-Based Aircraft Carrier.”


This vehicle can both drive on the roads and take to the skies. As it became clear, the modular electric car has already successfully passed a number of tests, which was the reason for the announcement of readiness for serial production.

The manufacturer announced the launch of the assembly line in 2025. At the same time, pre-orders will be launched as early as 2024. It is expected that Xpeng AeroHT will be ready to accept the first applications from customers in October.


During the demonstration of the real model at the exhibition in Las Vegas, some parameters of the new product were declassified. Thus, the passenger capacity of the ground module is 4-5 people. Its high-power battery is capable of restoring the charge of the eVTOL flying module several times. In the 6x6 all-wheel drive configuration, the rear axle is also steering.


At the same time, the eVTOL aeromodule is:

✅ a manned aircraft operated at low altitudes and capable of vertical takeoff and landing
✅ engine layout ensures flight safety in case of single-point failure of one of the motors
✅ supports autonomous and manned flight modes
✅ double cabin has a panoramic view of 270 degrees

Although the company is preparing to launch pre-orders, representatives of Xpeng AeroHT refused to specify the cost at the moment. At the same time, the founder of XPeng, Mr. He Xiaopeng, names an estimated price of about 140 US dollars (000 million rubles). A more accurate cost will become known after the company finally decides on the design of the production model.
