Hongqi E-HS9 from China – official sales in Russia have begun

The FAW concern brought to Russia its premium crossover Hongqi E-HS9 - everyone can purchase it by paying "only" from 13 rubles!


Is it worth paying such huge money for a Chinese car? First, you need to understand what the Hongqi brand is. Under this brand, the FAW concern produces limousines for the Chinese government and large sedans for businessmen. Recently, the company decided to master the segment of premium crossovers, revealing the Hongqi E-HS9 model.

The car is already officially sold in the salons of the Russian dealer. The crossover immediately attracts attention with its size, design and trim level. But that's not all - following the trend of modern fashion and environmental protection, the car is completely electric.



It is immediately clear that the Chinese brand is challenging giants such as the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS. Its dimensions are in no way inferior - body length 5 mm, width - 209 mm. In terms of wheelbase, Hongqi E-HS2 overtakes competitors - 010 versus 9 for BMW and 3 for Mercedes.

The design of the crossover wins the heart of almost everyone who sees it for the first time. There is nothing strange about this - Giles Taylor himself worked on the appearance - the designer of Rolls-Royce, who joined FAW.

It is for this reason that the front design of the E-HS9 is so reminiscent of British premium models. Original optics, door handles recessed into the body, a roof spoiler - all this gives the appearance of an SUV a strange combination of massiveness, solidity and sporty character.

Inside, the driver and passengers find themselves in a real realm of luxury. Nappa leather here is adjacent to natural wood of valuable species.

The crossover is offered both in a three-row six-seater version and a two-row four-seater. In the latter case, there are two luxurious “thrones” of the boss and his business partner or companion at the back.

Hongqi is offered only in all-wheel drive versions.
