In 2024, motorists in the Russian Federation will face at least 10 new fines for violating traffic rules. These include penalties imposed for exceeding the average permitted speed on public roads, excessive noise from a car, lack of a compulsory motor liability insurance policy, and even for washing a car in the courtyards of residential buildings. It will also “arrive” for owners of mopeds and other SIMs - electric scooters, unicycles, hoverboards and even electric skateboards. The fines for them for violating traffic rules will be similar to those for motorists. For example, for driving together on a SIM that is not suitable for this purpose, you face a sanction of 3000 rubles. For leaving the scene of an accident – 5000 rubles.
For exceeding the permissible noise level of a car, the fine will increase from the old 500 to the new 5000 rubles. Those who like to organize a car wash in the courtyard of their house can part with 1000-2000 rubles if they are caught red-handed. There will also be penalties for leaving a car outside an organized parking lot for a long period of time - the fine will range from 1000 to 3000 rubles.
A more detailed analysis of new legislative initiatives is already on the YouTube channel “Alexander Shumsky”. If you are a motorist, be sure to familiarize yourself with the new rules to avoid fines for traffic violations.
