Honda offers Shine motorcycles of a special series - they ask for up to 60 rubles for them

The Indian branch of Honda has begun mass production of budget Shine Celebration Edition motorcycles. This is a special series, distinguished by a golden finish with an emphasis on branded "chips".


Updated motorcycles emphasize that this is a Honda, despite the budget cost. By the way, they offer bikes in the same price category as Chinese and Indian small-capacity models.

The motorcycle is specially simplified to reduce the cost of production and reliability. In the event of a breakdown, Honda Shine can be repaired literally "in the field" with a simple set of tools.


The Celebration Edition features logos, gold emblems, and patterns on the plastic. The manufacturer replaced the saddle with a more comfortable one with brown upholstery. Silencers are painted in dark matt. The model is offered only in two colors - black and cherry.

They ask for only 59 thousand rubles for a motorcycle, a little more than for a regular modification, literally a thousand.

For this money, the buyer will receive a light road bike equipped with a four-stroke engine with a displacement of 125 cm3. Power - 10,5 liters. with., power supply system - carburetor.

Like the standard Honda Shine, the model is sold in two trim levels - with a front drum or disc brake to choose from. If you intend to operate the motorcycle in a rural area, it is better to choose the first option. The drum brake, despite its lower efficiency, is better protected from dirt.

Honda Shine is the most popular motorcycle in India. Every third bike sold in the country is of this model. Due to the cheapness, simplicity of design and reliability, the motorcycle is in high demand. Because of the Honda Shine, the Japanese manufacturer has launched an additional plant in Karnataka.


The model debuted in 2006 and immediately became a bestseller. In the first year, Honda sold more than 100 bikes of this model. Then the numbers grew monthly - in June 000, 2022 Honda CB Shine were sold in India.



Interestingly, a complete clone of the Honda CB Shine can be bought in Russia - this is the Minsk D4 125. The motorcycle is Chinese, but assembled in Belarus.

And now attention - its cost is almost twice as high as that of the original Honda Shine Celebration Edition in India. For the "Chinese" of the Belarusian assembly, they ask from 115 rubles.
