Deliveries of Chinese auto parts to Russia are not growing - opinions of drivers
Economic sanctions against the Russian Federation have forced American and European automakers to curtail their business in our country. Not everyone is happy with the current situation, but they had to leave under pressure from politicians.

One of the few countries that have maintained business relations with Russia is China. It seemed that there was an opportunity to occupy empty niches in our automotive market. Only stubborn statistics show the opposite - the import of cars and spare parts for them from China is not growing, but falling.

Experts say the reasons for this are serious. First, in Russia, the demand for new cars has always been low. The local market needs mostly budget cars.

Secondly, the global automotive market is experiencing a shortage due to problems with the supply of electronics to conveyors. It is easier to deliver cars to places where they are guaranteed to be bought.

For example, in April, imports of auto parts and components from China to Russia amounted to more than 190 million dollars. It was an attempt by brands from the Middle Kingdom to occupy empty niches after European manufacturers left the market.

Judging by the fact that in May this amount fell to 81 million dollars, the forecasts of the Chinese did not come true. Our country does not need so many components and spare parts, especially since the used market is dominated by cars of European and domestic production. The situation is similar with cars from China.

And now let's see what Russian drivers think about this:

It seems that soon we will all change to Chinese cars. With such salaries and constant price increases, we will not earn anything else.

- Ivan Fedorovich starts the conversation

Have you even seen the price tags on these new Chinese cars? Now high-tech models with robotic gearboxes, turbocharged engines and a lot of electronics are being brought to us. They cost 3-4 million rubles. Where does such money come from?

– the user “pazik42” does not agree with the opinion of the previous speaker

A simplified Lada Granta for 700 rubles is the future of most Russians who want to buy a new car. Personally, I have enough used cars. I see no reason to overpay for a tin can.

- expressed the opinion of the user "Pollitrovik"

At one time, Chinese cars were bought solely because of their cheapness. If it were possible, people would drive German and Japanese cars. And now the Chinese have climbed a couple of steps higher in the production of more technologically advanced cars. Yes, but we are no longer pulling new prices.

- Oleg is sure

The Chinese need to supply us with simple and inexpensive cars in the price range from 600 thousand to 1 million rubles. The main thing is that they are galvanized and do not rot.

- the user "Bender VVT" ends the conversation.
