4 changes in traffic rules came into force on June 1

On June 1, an improved version of the State Services Auto application began to work. You need to download it to your mobile device and create a profile. After that, it remains to upload your driver's license and OSAGO policy to the database. In this case, original documents may not be carried.



When stopped by a traffic police inspector, it is allowed to show the rights and insurance on the smartphone screen. Under the new legislation, this option is equivalent to paper originals. And the inspectors will have an application that allows them to confirm the originality of the submitted samples.

What else has changed

The second innovation concerns those drivers whose vehicles have LPG equipment. From now on, it is mandatory to have a technical passport of the established sample for each cylinder. All containers must have serial numbers that match those indicated in the papers. Documents should be presented at the first request of employees of internal bodies. There is a penalty for absence, but its size has not yet been announced. Most likely, an article for violating the rules for the safe use of HBO will be applied.



As of today, the use of vehicles fitted with seat belts without an automatic return reel is prohibited. All drivers of older models, where options without automation are used, are ordered to replace them with modern counterparts. This will significantly improve safety. There is a fine for driving cars with old-style seat belts.

The list of malfunctions in which the car cannot be used has also been supplemented. Now it is forbidden to operate a car with heavily worn tires. Another requirement is that the tires correspond to the season, while specific periods for each region will be set separately. For violation of this paragraph, a fine of 500 rubles will be issued.
