In 2017, there was a similar story: the current generation car was presented as a 2018 model. After 5 years, the car received a number of updates, and the manufacturer decided to share information about the “work done” with representatives of the media. The sedan has not undergone any major alterations.
In the exterior, a slightly modified grille is noticeable. It now features custom lighting similar to the one on the smaller Ghost. It also provides for the delivery of a car with an antichrome package. Special attention was also paid to optics: the edging of the headlights was made using a laser installation - the headlights, when light hits them, will shimmer and sparkle (a similar technology was used on the RR Starlight Headliner).

The Rolls-Royce Whispers app used in the car allows everyone in the cabin to use the on-board multimedia. Passengers will be able to find out the characteristics of the model, its location through the navigation system, and also find out, if necessary, whether the car has passed inspection.
The first sold copies inside will be finished according to the "system" Phantom Platino. This means decorative elements made of precious woods, ceramics and rear seats made from special types of fabric. Do not think that this is some ordinary, albeit expensive, textile. The upholstery is Italian fabric mixed with bamboo fibres. The front seats are upholstered in leather. If desired, the client can order the finish to your taste.

The updated version of Phantom is equipped with the same engine as the previous one. This is a 12-liter V6,75 with two turbochargers, developing 563 “horses” with a torque of 90 N * m. The role of the transmission is played by an eight-band "automatic", the drive is traditional for the brand - to the rear wheels.
