The new Russian brand of electric vehicles was named Evolute

Representatives of the Motorinvest company from Lipetsk announced the registration of the Evolute brand, which will specialize in the assembly of electric vehicles. It is planned to organize production with the maximum degree of localization. The company will also build charging points. According to management, the first copies should roll off the assembly line as early as 2022.

Motorinvest signed an investment agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, it is planned to produce up to 100 units per year. When the project is launched, it will be possible to implement the state program to increase the share of electric transport and close the need for new cars. In the press release, 000 models of different classes were announced at once. It has not yet been announced whose developments will be used as the basis, but from the images and characteristics it was possible to find out that all the machines are part of the production program of one of the Dongfeng sub-brands.



The Chinese auto giant has a full line of electric vehicles, most likely, an agreement was reached and all necessary assembly rights acquired. It is possible that engineers from China will arrive at the plant in Lipetsk for the initial commissioning of equipment and setting up technological processes.

Of the five models announced today, there are images of four. The i-PRO C-class sedan opens the line, this is a budget series with a power reserve of 420 km, a car weight of 1555 kg, a trunk volume of over 500 liters.



The i-VAN minivan has a length of more than 5 m, it is a full-fledged family transport. With a carrying capacity of almost a ton, the machine has a cruising range of more than 400 km. Standard charging takes 13 hours, while fast charging takes 35 minutes.

The i-JOY crossover is almost 4,4 meters long, has a ground clearance of 18 cm and a range of just over 400 km. Acceleration to 100 km / h is less than 9 seconds. The i-JET SUV is 4,7 m long. It features a 550-liter trunk and a large battery, thanks to which the car can travel up to 500 km on a single charge. Acceleration to 100 km / h in 4,5 seconds is impressive.



As for the flagship SUV i-JET, there is almost no data yet. This is the only model that has no pictures. It is known that it accelerates to 100 km / h in 4,7 seconds. and has a power reserve of 750 km.

News on the beginning of assembly and cars should be expected in the coming months. The company intends to speed up the process in order to establish production as soon as possible.
