Volkswagen ID5 and ID5 GTX in the US are not planning to deliver

Volkswagen showed two pre-production electric car ID5 and ID5 GTX. The manufacturer has directly stated that it has no intention of supplying these models to the American market at this time.


More recently, Volkswagen showed off the ID5 GTX-02 concept car. Fans of the brand were waiting for the pre-production models to receive major changes, as is usually the case. But the ID5 and its sporty GTX version are virtually indistinguishable from the prototype.

If we compare the new model with the VW ID4, then the sporty focus of the ID5 immediately catches the eye. It has a more aggressive silhouette and design.

The GTX version received a black roof with a bright red body color, which visually makes car sportier and lower. It is not yet known whether this will be the main color scheme for the Volkswagen ID5 GTX, or whether buyers will be offered other options, most likely the latter.



The new model will be in three versions:

• ? Pro with rear wheel drive and one 172 hp engine. With.
  
• ? Pro Performance stands out with 201 horsepower. With. and richer package
  
• ? GTX with two motors, issuing 295 hp. With. in total and all-wheel drive
  

All modifications are supposed to install the same battery at 77 kWh.

But it's too early for fans of the brand in the US to get upset. The manufacturer hinted that with high interest in the model and pre-orders, a revision of the supply issue is possible.
