Pre-orders for the Audi A8L Horch have begun

Audi has announced the start of pre-orders for the Audi A8L Horch. The executive sedan will go only to those who have time to book a car, because it will be released in a limited series.


The luxury model is positioned as a "boss car". Outwardly, this is expressed through dark body colors, tinted windows and classic alloy wheels. Audi A8L Horch looks strict, solid and expensive. The fact that this is a limited edition is hinted at by chrome nameplates.

Buying such a model as a personal car is not recommended - a person sitting behind the wheel will be perceived as a hired driver.



Most of the changes are inside. The interior and trim is made using the most expensive and luxurious materials - genuine leather and fine wood. The front panel is fully digital, it houses three LCD monitors. The first is for the driver, the second is the infotainment system, the third is climate control using the touchscreen.

There are a minimum of buttons in the cabin - Audi engineers tried to get rid of them by transferring everything you need to the steering wheel. The manufacturer does not want to be led by Tesla - he has retained the traditional shape of the driver's steering wheel.

The color scheme is made in soothing beige tones - so that nothing distracts from work. Extra-class noise isolation contributes to this - in the cabin of the Audi A8L Horch you can’t hear at all what is happening “overboard”.

The rear seats are more of a pair of luxurious leather chairs. They are separated by a large central tunnel, made in the form of a bar table, turning into a soft armrest. In front of the pillow is a separate screen, combined with the climate control system.

Audi A8L Horch can be used not only for movement, but also as a meeting room or office - inside there are all conditions for comfortable work, and no matter what is going on "overboard" at that moment - it will be quiet in the car.



Fans of the brand hoped that under the hood of the limited sedan there would be a revived top-end W12 engine with a displacement of 6 liters, which had long been abandoned. But the manufacturer has already officially announced that this is out of the question.

Horch will receive a three-liter turbocharged V6, paired with a mild hybrid transmission. The task of the electrical installation is only to help the main engine - this speeds up acceleration and saves about 15% of fuel.

The cost of the Audi A8L Horch is promised to be announced in the near future.
