Skidders from the USSR are equipment that works in the most difficult conditions. A typical copy of this class is the TDT-55 caterpillar tractor, produced since 1966 at the Onega plant. The technique survived the collapse of the Soviet Union. Due to its uniqueness, it was collected until 2003. Despite the fact that after the collapse of the USSR, the TDT-55 was produced in single copies, the equipment continues to work in the most remote forest corners of Russia. Most caterpillar tractors are still Soviet-made, that is, a colossal margin of safety was laid in them.
