Hybrid crossover Maserati Levante appeared in Russian showrooms

The press service of the Italian manufacturer of premium cars announced the start of sales in Russia of two new versions of the Levante SUV. The first is a mild hybrid installation, the second is with a diesel power unit.


The stylish crossover stands out due to the large vertical elements of the radiator grille, narrow LED headlights and the silhouette characteristic of the Italian brand with smooth curves.

The mild hybrid includes a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged gasoline engine and a 48-volt electric generator. Together, the units produce 330 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It is known that the batteries are installed under the floor of the luggage compartment. Their capacity, as well as the power reserve car have not yet been disclosed.



The second novelty will be the Maserati Levante with a 6-liter six-cylinder turbocharged V3 diesel engine producing 275 hp. With. There is also a gasoline engine, with the same layout and volume, its power is 350 "horses".

In the Levante S version, the six-cylinder engine produces 430 hp. With. The Levante GTS modification has more impressive characteristics. As a power unit, a V8 from Ferrari with a volume of 3,8 liters is used. The updated series produces 551 liters. with., which is 21 "horses" more than before. The press service also shared information on the Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli models, which have ceased to be sold since the fall of 2019 due to the fact that the OTTS has expired. To date, the company's representatives in Russia have submitted all the necessary documents for certification. According to forecasts, their consideration will be completed in the next 3-4 months. As soon as the papers are approved, sales in the country will resume.

The hybrid Maserati Levante is more fuel-efficient than the petrol and diesel versions and produces lower emissions. Due to this, the company hopes to expand the circle of potential customers.
