The U7 is somewhat similar to the previously presented electric supercar U9, but the dimensions of the sedan are noticeably larger: 5265x1998x1517 mm. The distance between the wheel axles was 3160 mm.

Like the U9, there is an LED strip installed around the perimeter, which gives the optics a non-standard look.
A LiDAR unit is visible on the roof, which hints at the presence of intelligent functions. The supercar similarities continue with the lines on the hood, but the design of the grille is different.
At the rear of the sedan there is a dynamic spoiler that automatically extends when accelerating. Next to it is a logo indicating that it belongs to Yangwang.
Yangwang U7 is equipped with cameras built into the side mirrors. The car was also shown with regular mirror units. It is possible that video cameras may be reserved for higher trim levels.
The sedan is built on the e4 platform, which underlies the Yangwang U9 supercar. In addition, the car's design uses an updated DiSus-Z suspension.
The new chassis has electric motors instead of traditional hydraulic shock absorbers. This ensures an impeccable smooth ride, regardless of the quality of the surface on which the car is driving. The suspension response time is only 10 milliseconds.

The U7 sedan is equipped with the TianShen AI driving system. The vehicle has 3 lidars, 5 millimeter wave radars and 13 cameras.
