The sports version of Voyah Free will be officially sold in Russia

The Chinese premium brand Voyah presented in Russia a new modification of its luxury crossover Free. It is called Sport Edition and will be officially sold in our country.


The manufacturer did not specify the technical features of the new product. But, most likely, they will not differ from Voyah Free EVR Long Range, except for one nuance. The power reserve of the new product is greater - they promise up to 1 kilometers with a full tank of gasoline.

They have not yet said how much they will ask for the Sport Edition. But, most likely, this version of the hybrid SUV will be more expensive than the Voyah Free EVR Long Range. And for that one our official dealers want about 6 million rubles.


These are new prices, by the way. Surprisingly, they dropped significantly in April. Previously, officials asked 8,5 million rubles for EVR Long Range.

Voyah Free in the Sport Edition can be distinguished externally. Firstly, the crossover has a new grille. It is not chrome, but glossy black.

Secondly, the car received new bumpers, giving the crossover a more aggressive look. Thirdly, a different spoiler appeared on the tailgate. And the last thing is the R20 alloy wheels with an exclusive design in gloss black.

The Sport Edition's powerplant, similar to the EVR Long Range version, consists of two electric motors and a gasoline internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is not responsible for the wheel drive. The task of the 1,5-liter power unit is to charge the running battery.

The crossover moves due to a pair of electric motors installed on the front and rear axles, respectively. Their total power is 480 hp. With. The large crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 4,8 seconds.

The Sport Edition modification can travel up to 1 km with a full tank of gasoline and a charged running battery. This is 000% more than the EVR Long Range version.


The manufacturer does not specify how such figures were achieved. Options may vary. From simply increasing the gas tank to installing a more capacitive running battery.

The Voyah brand website indicates that the interior of the Sport Edition will also change. There will be space for two wireless chargers. They will be located on the central tunnel. Space was freed up there by moving the transmission selector to the steering column.

Rear passengers will receive their own touchscreen multimedia system. They also promise an upgraded on-board computer. Its processor will be 8 times faster.
