The main task is to introduce potential buyers to the car. Most likely, the Haval H9 will be put on public display after April 25, when the new generation model will be officially presented at the Beijing Motor Show.
But photographs have already appeared by which one can judge the appearance of the SUV. It seems that the “parent” concern Great Wall Motors is impressed by the sales of the Haval Dargo and Tank 300. It is for this reason that the new generation of H9 is so similar in appearance to these models.

The SUV's design features retro motifs, but the car does not look outdated. The design of the radiator grille and round headlights with square frames are stylistically reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender. The taillights are located lower - they were removed from the body pillars.
The Haval H9 will now be offered in several new colours. All shades are in a restrained brutal style, like slate gray and smoky white. They hint that this is a serious SUV, designed for travel and work, and not for entertainment.
The manufacturer has so far presented only photographs of the body from different angles. What the salon will be like is unknown. Judging by the photographs taken by random witnesses of the unloading of cars, the dashboard has changed. It now consists of a pair of identical displays and does not have a protective visor on top.
But the manufacturer has announced the main technical characteristics of the new Haval H9. The SUV will be offered only in petrol and diesel versions. There are no hybrids or electric cars in the range.
The petrol turbo engine remained almost unchanged. This is a two-liter power unit with a capacity of 224 hp. With. 6 more “horses” than the previous generation model.

But the diesel engine has undergone major changes. Its volume is no longer 2,0, but 2,4 liters. But the power is now 184 versus 190 hp. With. They did this in order to increase traction at low speeds, because the Haval H9 is a serious frame SUV.
The gearbox of the new generation model in petrol version has not changed. It's the same eight-speed automatic transmission. But paired with a diesel engine is a more modern 9-automatic transmission.
Prices for the new generation Haval H9 are still kept secret.
