The first cars designed to transport passengers are promised in March 2025. In addition to diesel ones, there will be gas and electric buses.
At the moment, foundation work is being completed at the production site. At the same time, they began to erect floors and prepare to accept the equipment necessary for the launch.

They promise that the latter will begin to be delivered in August 2024. Accordingly, covered warehouses or even the buildings of a new plant should be ready by this time.
By the end of this year, not only will all the workshops and administrative buildings be built, but also the installation of engineering structures will be done. Builders on site work every day in accordance with drawn up and approved schedules.
As for the bus models that will be assembled at the new plant, first of all, this is the MAZ-203. A modern low-floor machine that meets all international standards. The bus is equipped with three double doors. MAZ-203 is suitable for city routes, but can also be used on suburban routes.
A low-floor model with an “accordion” is intended for large cities. This is the MAZ-216 - an articulated four-door car.
For those who prefer more modern developments, the MAZ-303 family is suitable. So far this bus is being produced without an articulated version, but they promise one in the future.
The Minsk manufacturer also has a line of semi-low-floor models with medium capacity. They are designed for use in small towns and beyond. Due to their higher ground clearance than low-floor vehicles, such buses are suitable even for gravel roads. These are models MAZ-206/226.

MAZ-257 was developed specifically for suburban routes. This model is available in two main versions. The first is passenger, the second is school. The latter is designed to deliver children living in small villages and hamlets. MAZ-257 is a high-floor bus with increased cross-country ability.
There are also intercity models in the manufacturer’s line. They can also be used for tourist passenger transportation. This is MAZ with indexes 231 and 232.
And the most interesting model in the line, which you won’t see in cities, is the MAZ-271. The bus is designed specifically for use at airports.
