American electric car Fisker Ocean will go on sale in Europe in the fall

Press Service of Fisker Inc. announced that the flagship model will be presented to the European public at the Mobile World Congress. It will start on February 28 in Barcelona. Those who wish will be able to see a pre-production sample, the production of which is scheduled for autumn 2022.


Fisker is a brand that was revived in 2016. The founders chose a new concept, focusing on electric transport. The developers presented several models, the Fisker Ocean electric crossover became the flagship of the line.

In October 2020, the company entered into an agreement with Magna International, which will produce the Ocean crossover. The official presentation of the model took place at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2021.



The car was liked by the public due to many interesting technical solutions. At $37, this is one of the cheapest deals on the market. According to the developers, the build quality, equipment and characteristics of the car are not inferior to models that cost tens of thousands more.

The company periodically publishes news, but only viewers in Los Angeles were able to see the real sample. Thanks to the motor show in Barcelona, ​​the European public will also be able to get acquainted with the car.



At Fisker Inc. decided to open a new division of Magic Works with localization in the UK. It will deal with special series of cars and "charged" versions.

In 2021, a representative office was opened in Munich. Today there is an expansion of staff to prepare for the start of sales. It is planned to open offices in several other European countries.



CEO Henrik Fisker said that the presentation in Barcelona marks a new step in the development of the company. He is confident that the public will appreciate the combination of technology, performance and price of the novelty. Market research has shown high interest in the Fisker Ocean, with annual sales forecast of at least 60 units.

Production will start in November at one of the Austrian factories. When positioning the model as the most environmentally friendly in the class, you can count on fast certification in all European countries. There is no information regarding interest in the Russian market, so it is difficult for us to predict the timing of the appearance of Fisker Ocean.
