Lexus NX received an Overtrail version with increased ground clearance

An Overtrail version for the Lexus NX has appeared on the European market with ground clearance increased by 15 mm. You might think that this was done to improve cross-country ability, but this is not the case. Yes, this will definitely affect the off-road performance, but the idea is different - to improve the driver’s visibility from the car.


The Overtrail version is only available in Moon Desert color, which complements the gloss black exterior trim. This is complemented by 18-inch wheels with a dark matte finish.


What has seriously changed compared to the original version is the interior. The upholstery is black and khaki, the doors are trimmed with light wood - this will definitely appeal to lovers of eco-style.

Interior ambient lighting comes in a choice of 64 colors, including 14 shades that Lexus says are “inspired by nature.”

The Overtrail trim is available with all the powertrains offered in the regular NX. These include gasoline, diesel internal combustion engines, as well as plug-in hybrid power plants.
