If you look into the details, the manufacturer decided not to bother with major modifications. He simply developed a special “package” that included a number of changes and additions.
First of all, the cars will receive the appropriate nameplates. There will be a new radiator grille, exclusive R20 alloy wheels, and tinted optics.
So far, only the Ford Mustang in a convertible body has been presented. Photo: youtube.com
The body will be painted in only three colors - white, blue and red. Naturally, these are not standard, but special shades. Plus, graphics dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the model are printed on the bottom of the body.
Only the white version will have side mirror housings painted in body color. The blue car will receive them in chrome, and the red car will have them in a silver shade.
Only customers who have ordered a Ford Mustang in the top-end GT Premium trim will be able to purchase one of the 60th Anniversary series pony cars. And it makes no difference what type of body this car will be offered in – coupe or convertible.
Naturally, you will have to pay extra to own a car from an exclusive series. Just how much is still unknown. But, knowing American drivers, those who love just such classic pony cars, we can confidently say that they will quickly disassemble the cars.
In addition to external differences, the manufacturer also improved the interior of the Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary. A small sign was placed right on the dashboard indicating that the car belongs to a special series.
The dash is electronic, but it now features retro-style gauges reminiscent of the 1967 Mustang. The interior will be offered in one of three design shades – space gray, onyx black or carmine red.

Under the hood of the model there is no alternative power unit. Rejoice, classic fans - this is a V8 with a displacement of 5,0 liters and a power of 480 hp.
The Ford Mustang has rear-wheel drive without any alternative. Gearboxes will be offered in two versions - a classic six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The price of the 60th Anniversary Mustang is promised to be announced to the public towards the end of 2024. “Live” sales will begin, accordingly, a little later after this significant event.
