Accepting orders for the restyled Nissan Qashqai is scheduled for this summer. Whether they will be preliminary or talk about “live” sales is still unclear.
The main external change is the rethought front end of the crossover. A more massive bumper appeared. The radiator grille was also changed. Now it has specific cells. The manufacturer claims that the designers were inspired by samurai armor. Indeed, the lattice is somewhat reminiscent of the armor of medieval Japanese warriors.

We also worked on the lighting equipment. It received a new shape - the headlights became even narrower. The technical specifications have also been changed. Now the high beam beam is wider, and you can see further. The taillights are in harmony with the headlights.
The updated Nissan Qashqai will be offered in several new colors. Alloy wheels with a previously unknown design appeared.
The salon received finishing materials of higher quality. But they are all synthetic - there will be no genuine leather even in the “top” configuration. But Alcantara, or artificial suede, can now even be on the front panel. Naturally, not in the basic version, but only in the most expensive version.
The multimedia system has been globally updated. It received a faster processor and expanded memory. A new operating system from Google has been installed, licensed, of course. Now the car can be updated via wireless networks.
Provides maps and voice assistant. You can download various games and programs from Google Play.
The manufacturer said that the Nissan Qashqai is now equipped with a new generation of all-round cameras. They have a built-in transparent hood feature. This is a system that can show everything that is going on under the car from the front. Cameras located in the radiator area transmit images to the head screen of the multimedia system.
But the engines of the Nissan Qashqai remain the same. Photo: youtube.com
As for the engines, they remained the same as before the restyling. These are turbo-petrol engines with a volume of 1,3 liters. The power units are “mild” hybrids and are capable of developing power from 140 to 158 hp.
In the “top” version, the crossover is still equipped with an e-Power power plant. It is based on a 1,5 liter engine. But the motor only works in tandem with the generator and is not connected to the wheels. The power of this Nissan Qashqai is 190 hp.
Prices for the updated crossover are still unknown.
